oh crap

I guess since Heather put me on the lsit of places she visits that i better get with it and post more huh? i just think that my life is boring sometimes. I have had two surgurys lately. seem to be recovering from the both well. glad that they are over though. I have just barely begun my Christmas shopping. Got some stuff for the grandbabies.....why are they always so much easier to buy for than your grown kids? I mean nobody seems to know what they want for Christmas around here. I guess that you can put me in the sam catagory with them though......i never seem to know either.
well i gotta go check out a new scrapbook store in shelley....Christy T says it is a good store!

so this is a picture of the little girl we are fighting for....we went to court on thursday and the DNA test was ordered....It will take up to 3 weeks for the appointment and after that it should take about 3 weeks to get theresults. We have not heard yet as to when the appointment is. This is all driving me crazy. I am like 99% sure this is Chris's baby but there is also some tiny twing of doubt. So when it finally happens maybe then I can have peace in my heart. I can say that each day I go with out seeing her hurts. I have grown to love this little one.
Other than that....It is my birthday. Happy Birthday self! Glen is supposed to take me out for dinner tonight. Tina asked if I wanted to meet her for lunch today. Gonna do that. Glen bought me 2 new shirts and a pair of shorts.

update

So much has happened since march! Aileys mother died in an auto accident and chris is trying to get custody of her. Amy's ex has current custody. we have not seen her since the middle of April. No news yet as to what is happening courtwise.

David did not need surgury. He was fitted for a helmet (or should I say casted). He has been wearing it for about a week.

School is out...Yippee! that is such a relief for the summer.

Last night we took care of David while Jessica and Todd both worked. When Jessica came to pick him up, she told us about her doctors visit and started to cry. Davids heas has been misshappened since birth. Every Doctors visit she asked the Doctor about it and told him she was worried about it. Everytime the Doctor told her not to worry about it, that it would more than likely reshape itself. So yesterday he told her that he wanted David to have and MRI. If the bones are not fused together already then he will have to wear a plastic helmit of some sort. If they are they will have to make him an appointment down at Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City so that he can have surgury to break the bones. Now why didn't he mention this earlier when surgury did not have to be an option? Doctors can be so frustrating.

delayed again

so hey! I goota get better at this....now that i can access my pictures again maybe i will try to do better. What's new in my life? lets see....the baby that Chris swore wasn't his a year ago...he deciede it is his and he gets her for several hours on sundays. So i have a new (to me) granddaughter. Her name is Ailey May and she is a cutie....loves grandpa more that anything here...she would kling to him and not let go. I will post a picture soon.
I went to Boise this Weekend because Brad Was ordained an Elder in church. of course my sidetrip was scrapbook shopping....gotta love that. I came home with lots of goodies. Checked out the Archives store in Boise that Darla mentioned....it was pretty good....a different type of store but it had tons of stamps and other stuff i have not seen elsewhere. Of course I went to my old standby scrapbook store because i had finally spent enough there the last time I went that I got a 20% discount. then we headed towards home and stopped in tin falls because Heather told me about to shops there. The girlfriends store was a cute little homey store, shich by the way they said they are expanding next month. Picked up some little books for Heather and of course something for me. Then went looking for the bigger one on the next block. was told it was the biggest ever. I walk in and think, this is the biggest ever? i was not too impressed. but glen had gone to the bank across the street and came looking for me and had a hard time finding me. Come to find out I was not in the biggest one ever. There was yet another one a few more doors down. I still thought, yeah yeah, i didn't think any would be as good as the one in Park City. Holy cow! it was huge....little nooks and crannies every where i looked. I looked and looked and by the way saw the most darling layout ever. I wonder still if there was some little cove somewhere that I did not see......so yes, Heahter, this is the biggest one ever.....loved it!

can't believe it

so the cold snap is finally supposed to be over tonight! It is about time! We have been at least a week with temps below 0 and have been freezing to death. We are going to have a heat wave of about 25 by mid week!

so any ways, I am chatting with my son on-line tonight and find out his girlfriend has finally found a job. That was good news in and of itself.
But get this......her new job is doing books for Chatterbox! and the first thing he says to me is no.....you don't get any discount! Bummer! I just thought that was ironic that she got a job with Chatterbox when I am such an avid scrapper. Cool beans, huh?

post Christmas

What a wonderful christmas it has been! Visiting with friends and family, eating good foods, giving gifts, getting fun scrapbook stuff! now i just need to get very busy! Isn't it wonderful to be able to, at least once in a great while, have all of your children together at one time under the same roof? It is a rarity for me to say the least. All of the kids were here and all but one grandbaby. I missed seeing Winter yesterday. Her mother said she was bringing her over, but she never came. Guess I will have to go see her. I am so wishing that I could attach a picture but my computer has a small problem and will not let me into my camara software. Blake help!
